RENEE MCLAUGHLIN
While the nature of each of my professional opportunities has been unique, they all share a common theme. What began as a concentration in criminal justice evolved to my current focus on homeland security. I started as a criminal defense attorney in Upstate New York in 1992, which led to my work in the New York State Governor's Office in Washington, DC in 1999, and then on to my current work here at G&H in 2004. I've been fortunate to build upon each experience to better serve the next stakeholder.
Whether it has been working directly with members of the community, or federal, state and local officials, or emergency response practitioners – I enjoy having the ability to work with those who will directly benefit from the work that I support. At G&H, we call it practitioner-driven, as you'll see from various places on the Website. I believe it is one of G&H's most important attributes.
