BRIAN COHEN
I spent three years working at the U.S. Department of Justice conducting outreach and intergovernmental affairs with state and local officials and external groups. I have conducted extensive grassroots work to build coalitions in support of various issues. Some of the issues I am most proud of include National Methamphetamine Awareness Day, a DOJ model state anti-trafficking bill, Project Safe Neighborhood, and Project Safe Childhood.
I am driven by communication and relationships. How we interact as individuals and ultimately citizens of our great country affects our ability to live meaningful and productive lives, to build valuable partnerships and to expand our network of people, ideas and perspective. In the end, always doing what is right and conducting oneself with professionalism is what is most important. I thrive on creativity and collaboration.
I have a deep appreciation for first responders, especially law enforcement. I love our country and those who protect its ideals and principles. I am honored to be a part of G&H's mission of helping communities become more prepared.
Outside of work, what is most important to me is family, my close friends, staying physically fit, mentally sharp, and appreciating the little things in life...like hockey.
I have a Bachelor's Degree from Hamilton College in Government and Communications.
